Solihull Borough 2 - 4 Rothwell Town

1st half

In an incredible first half, Rothwell find themselves going into the break 3-2 up away at Solihull Borough. Rothwell went 2-0 up within the first 15 minutes, a header by Jon Darby followed by a goal from new signing Danny Nicholls - following a defensive error. Rothwell could, and should, have gone 3-0 up shortly afterwards when Nicholls squandered another open goal chance. Following this, Solihull broke to the other end and made it 2-1. Darren Lynch then made it 3-1 to Rothwell but Solihull came back again to make it 3-2 to The Bones going into the half-time break.

In a game where both team's defences are struggling to come to terms with the other side's attack, who knows what wil happen in the second half?

Second half

Nicholls added a fourth and Rothwell ran out 4-2 winners.
