Rothwell Town 3 - 0 Bromsgrove Rovers

A night to remember at Cecil Street tonight with Rothwell defeating second placed Bromsgrove Rovers 3-0 courtesy of a great team performance and a Ricky Miller hat-trick.

Bromsgrove had applied pressure in the first 20 minutes but Rothwell defended stoutly. They saw their reward later in the half as Ricky Miller scored to take it into the break at 1-0.

The second half came to life midway through when a superb cross-ball from Darren Lynch picked out Miller who slotted away his and Rothwell's second of the night. Within a minute an almost carbon copy repeated! Lynch - again on the right - crossed superbly and Ricky Miller slotted home for his hat-trick. Rothwell were in complete dominance now and could afford the luxury of Lynch missing a penalty four minutes later.

This dominance continued until the final whistle and it'd have been at no surprise had The Bones added 3 or 4 more to their tally.
