Willenhall Town 2 - 1 Rothwell Town

Rothwell Town's hopes of reaching the play-offs were brought to an end with this defeat at Willenhall. But Bones manager Alan Biley felt that his side deserved more out of the game. He said: "It just wouldn't come for us and I felt that we did deserve to get at least a point out of the game. But that happens sometimes and you just have to take it on the chin."

"It was a dust bowl of a pitch and the first half was pretty even. Then they scored an absolute wonder goal to take the lead and within a minute they had scored again. We really dominated the second half and restricted them to one shot on goal. But their keeper made two very good saves."

" The lads have done very well. It has been a good season. They have worked hard and they should feel proud of themselves. We've got two games now and it would be nice to finish off the season with a couple of wins."

Ricky Miller scored for the Bones with 25 minutes to go.
