Rothwell Town 1 - 1 Boreham Wood

Rothwell extended their unbeaten run to four games, as they enjoyed another good result against one of the top teams in the league. Following on from last weekend's 2-1 win at league-leaders Enfield, The Bones matched Boreham Wood and could have won it at the death.

After an largely uneventful first half, Rothwell took the lead through on-loan striker Chris Difante - opening his account for the team - before Boreham Wood equalised to tie the game. Steve Towers had a couple of glorious opportunities to grab the headlines and take the 3 points but, uncharacteristically, failed to bury them.

So, the result of two tricky ties against well-placed opposition is a well-deserved 4 points. The Bones travel to Ilford next Saturday where they will hope to build on these positive performances.
