Rothwell Town got some much needed points on the board this afternoon with a 5-1 victory over bottom team Berkhamsted Town at Cecil Street.

Two goals just before half-time got The Bones underway with Andreas Kattous netting his first goal in Rothwell colours in the 44th minute, quickly followed by Chris Difante's first goal since re-joining, right before the break.

A further two goals in 9 minutes shortly into the second half from striker Adam Cunnington on 47 mins and 56 mins - also his first goals for the club - put Rothwell into a four goal lead.

Jon Stead then made it 5-0 with 15 minutes to go, and Berkhamsted made it 5-1 in the 81st minute when Grant Sanders netted for the visitors.

Next up for the Bones are Sutton Coldfield Town at home on Friday (21st March). This game is a 7.45pm kick-off.

Children accompanied by an adult are allowed in for £1.

Following that, Barton Rovers are visitors to Cecil Street on Easter Monday (24th March), with a 3pm kick-off.
