Clean Sweep for Purton

Steve Purton collected the two first team awards for the 07/08 season when he picked up both the Players' Player and Manager's Player of the Year Awards.

Purton - who joined in the summer - has settled in very well at the club and put in some superb performances. At just 20 his attitude and versatility (he has played left wing, centre midfield, left back and centre back) has impressed all at the club and we hope he stays with us for a long time.
