Rothwell Town 1 - 2 Bishops Cleeve

Chris Difante opened the scoring on 15 mins and Rothwell had controlled the game up until this point. Bishops Cleeve then took over the game for the next 60 mins; during this period they equalised (on 40 mins) to take it to half time with the score level.

It was backs to the wall after this and Rothwell were restricted to 1 or 2 breakaway chances. Five minutes from the end of the game Bishops Cleeve scored again to take the 3 points.

All in all a poor performance and one can only hope things are turned around quickly with the Kidsgrove Athletic FA Cup tie just a week away.
