Kidsgrove Athletic 6 - 0 Rothwell Town

1st half: The half ended with the score at 2-0 to Kidsgrove, but oh what a half. The game was Rothwell's for the taking and on 20 minutes, Chris Difante broke clear to go one-on-one but failed to beat the keeper. Kidsgrove then opened the scoring with a good goal which came from a cross from the right.

Within two minutes Rothwell were awarded a penalty when Flannigan was brought down off the ball.Top scorer Justin Jenkins stepped up but hit it at a saveable height and the chance was missed. Three minutes before half-time, Stuart Spencer miscontrolled the ball in the middle of the park and the Kidsgrove forward nipped in and scored to make it 2-0, but with all to play for at this stage.

2nd half: Finished Kidsgrove 6 - 0 Rothwell. What can you say?
