Northampton Spencer 0 - 4 Rothwell Town

Rothwell Town overcame a tricky week off the pitch to secure a solid victory tonight over Northampton Spencer in the Hillier Senior Cup.

The first half was a fairly even affair, and the deadlock was broken by top scorer Justin Jenkins when he slotted home having made a good header.

The second half was one-way traffic, as Rothwell dominated the game. Justin Jenkins scored his and Rothwell's second goal of the night, which was followed by a third goal for The Bones as Jon Darby headed home from a set corner.

With a few minutes left to go, Tolton capitalised on a loose throw-out from the home keeper and put the ball away from 35 yards to seal a 4-0 victory for The Bones.
